What You Will Be Doing:
Own the end-to-end technical implementation of Data Intelligence and complex integration projects (moving beyond standard identity checks into online banking, penny drops, e-signatures, and high-revenue modules).
Assess global third-party vendors (identity, KYC/non-doc verification, local databases), review REST API documentation, test endpoints in Postman, and map data structures to ensure optimal engineering execution.
Translate high-level business goals from Product Managers into robust technical specifications and PRDs—pushing back and challenging assumptions to guarantee seamless, scalable integration architectures.
Define, prioritize, and write granular technical tasks for a dedicated team of 5–8 developers and infrastructure engineers, aligning implementation timelines and roadmap priorities with Product Managers.
Ensure effective delivery across all project phases (technical assessment, specs, engineering handoffs) while creating and maintaining high-quality internal and external technical documentation.
Perform functional and integration acceptance testing on new vendor connections to minimize review loops and maintain high standards across global product rollouts.
Ensure operational and UI/UX consistency across Data Intelligence products, using stakeholder feedback and monitoring metrics to identify and design product optimizations.
Act as the primary technical contact for internal stakeholders, clients, and operations teams to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve integration issues across international markets.
About You:
Strong understanding of REST APIs, HTTP, JSON, webhooks, authentication methods, and API integration patterns.
Ability to independently analyze third-party API documentation, identify limitations and edge cases, and design integration flows.
Experience with API testing and debugging tools such as Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, or similar.
Ability to work with logs and monitoring/analytics tools such as Kibana and Superset or similar to investigate issues, validate product behavior, and analyze integration performance.
Basic understanding of databases and SQL sufficient for data investigation and validation.
Understanding of synchronous and asynchronous architectures, error handling, retries, timeouts, callbacks/webhooks, and basic integration reliability concepts.
Ability to translate product requirements into detailed technical specifications, including field/response/error mappings, validation rules, edge cases, and acceptance criteria.
Ability to translate business and customer requirements into technical product solutions while considering existing platform capabilities and architectural constraints.
Ability to identify product gaps and improvement opportunities based on stakeholder feedback, production data, support cases, and recurring integration issues.
Strong understanding of product lifecycle from discovery and solution design through Engineering implementation, QA, release, and post-release monitoring.
Ability to evaluate trade-offs between customer requirements, implementation complexity, scalability, consistency, and long-term product maintainability.
