Technical Pre-Sales Manager (EMEA)

As a Technical Pre-Sales Manager (EMEA) at Sumsub, you will play a critical role in driving business growth by bridging the gap between technical capabilities and customer needs. You will work closely with the sales, product and operational teams to provide technical expertise, solution demonstrations, and architectural guidance to Sumsub's Tier 1 prospects and leads across the EMEA region.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Consulting: Act as a trusted advisor to customers, understanding their technical and business requirements and positioning Sumsub’s solutions accordingly.
Product Demonstrations: Preparing and conducting live and customized demonstrations of Sumsub’s all-in-one platform, showcasing its capabilities and value proposition.
Technical Discovery & Qualification: Work closely with prospective clients to gather technical requirements, assess integration needs, and define solution architectures.
Proof of Concept (PoC) Execution: Lead PoCs and trials to validate Sumsub’s technology during the sales cycle, working closely with client technical teams to ensure successful outcomes.
Sales Support: Partner with the sales team throughout the sales cycle, providing technical expertise, responding to RFPs/RFIs, and addressing customer concerns, both in written and verbal communication
Integration Consulting: Guide customers on best practices for integrating Sumsub’s APIs and SDKs, ensuring a smooth and efficient deployment.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams (product, engineering, legal, compliance, operations, and more) to align solutions with customer needs and market trends.
Industry Insights: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor offerings in the identity verification and fraud prevention space.
About You:
Technical Curiosity: Comfortable learning new technologies and explaining them to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Basic Technical Understanding: Familiarity with APIs, SDKs, and cloud-based SaaS platforms (coding experience is NOT required but is a plus).
Sales Acumen: Ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling business value for enterprise clients. Client facing experience is a major benefit, but not a hard requirement.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Problem-solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Industry Interest: Interest in Fintech, Reg-tech, Fraud prevention, and Compliance. Experience in these areas is beneficial but not mandatory.
Languages: Fluency in English is required.
Travel: Willingness to travel within the EMEA region as needed for client meetings and industry events.
