Partnership Manager (African Region)

Sumsub is on the lookout for a dedicated and strategic Partnership Manager to grow our presence through key partnerships in the African region. The ideal candidate will be adept at identifying potential partner opportunities, initiating relationships, and crafting mutually beneficial partnership agreements. This role is designed for a “connector” who thrives on networking and establishing strong professional ties, contributing to sustainable financial growth by aligning with partners that complement and enhance Sumsub’s offerings.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Identify and cultivate strategic partnership opportunities that align with Sumsub’s mission and market goals.
- Engage and negotiate with potential partners to create profitable and synergistic business alliances.
- Manage the end-to-end partnership lifecycle, from initial outreach to agreement finalisation and ongoing relationship maintenance.
- Coordinate with internal teams to assess partnership opportunities and develop joint strategies that meet partner and company objectives.
- Monitor and report on the success of partnerships, adjusting strategies as needed to maximise results.
- Act as a liaison between Sumsub and partners, ensuring clear communication and successful collaboration.
About You:
- At least 5 years of experience in partnership development, business development, or a similar role, with a focus on creating strategic alliances.
- A track record of establishing successful partnerships, with evidence of achieving growth targets.
- Strong networking abilities and a natural aptitude for building relationships.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite and CRM software, with the capability to quickly adapt to new technologies.
- Excellent command of English, with proficiency in additional languages spoken in the African region being a plus.
- Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of how partnerships can enhance business growth.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage a diverse workload.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field is preferred.

This is a remote position (within Africa). The ideal candidate must be a self-starter, highly motivated, and driven, demonstrating the ability to work independently and proactively without the need for micro-management. An autonomous professional approach and the capacity to manage time effectively are essential for success in this role.
