IT Applications Engineer
We're hiring an IT Applications Support Engineer to automate onboarding/offboarding, improve RBAC, and code workflow/security tasks. Coding skills are a must.

Join our innovative IT team as an IT Applications Support Engineer, where you’ll drive seamless technical integrations, automate critical processes, and ensure reliable system performance. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and Maintain Integrations: Design, implement, and support technical integrations between core IT systems, including LDAP, Google Workspace, Google Cloud, Slack, MS Azure, Windows Active Directory, and Identity Management (IDM) systems.
Ensure Robust Monitoring: Configure monitoring solutions to proactively detect integration failures, ensuring alerts are triggered before user reports, using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
Drive CI/CD Excellence: Develop and update integrations using CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps) to ensure rapid, reliable deployment of changes.
Collaborate with Key Stakeholders: Work closely with the IT Application Manager to implement SSO and automation for onboarding/offboarding processes, and partner with the Access Manager to automate access role provisioning, revocation, and changes.
Document Solutions: Create clear, maintainable documentation using tools like Confluence, enabling the IT team to understand, support, and make minor updates to integrations.
Uphold Coding Standards: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, adhering to version control best practices using Git.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
System Integration Expertise: Proven experience integrating applications with core IT systems such as LDAP, Google Workspace, Google Cloud, Slack, MS Azure, and Windows Active Directory.
Single Sign-On (SSO): Proficiency in configuring SSO using protocols like SAML, OAuth, or OpenID Connect, with platforms such as Okta or Azure AD.
API Integration: Strong ability to work with RESTful APIs and webhooks for seamless application integration.
n8n Proficiency: Hands-on experience with n8n for workflow automation and integration.
Programming and Scripting: Advanced skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automating onboarding/offboarding, license management, and permissions provisioning.
CI/CD Pipelines: Expertise in CI/CD tools like GitLab CI/CD or Azure DevOps for developing and deploying integrations.
Monitoring and Alerting: Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog to set up proactive alerts for integration issues.
Version Control: Proficiency with Git for managing code repositories and adhering to coding best practices.
Documentation Skills: Ability to create clear, maintainable technical documentation using tools like Confluence.
Identity Management Systems: Experience with IDM systems for automating user access and provisioning.
Cloud Platforms: Knowledge of cloud environments like Google Cloud or MS Azure for application integration and deployment.
Important Notes:
Coding-Focused Role: Candidates must demonstrate strong coding skills. Low-code platforms like Zapier or similar solutions are not used in this role.
