Business Development Manager (Gambling)

We are in search of a dynamic Business Development Manager (Gambling) to spearhead our sales initiatives in the heavily competitive and fast-paced gambling industry. This leadership role is critical to Sumsub's strategic expansion, focusing on identifying new business opportunities, fostering strong client relationships, and driving sales growth. Together with our VP of Business Development, the successful candidate will lead our sales team towards achieving and surpassing sales targets, while championing Sumsub's commitment to excellence and innovation.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Developing and implementing effective sales strategies tailored for the gambling industry
- Identifying emerging markets and market shifts, including new products and competitor status
- Leading a team of sales professionals; hiring, training, and motivating the team to exceed sales targets
- Building and maintaining long-lasting, strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry partners
- Collaborating with internal teams, including marketing and product development, to align on strategic goals and enhance client offerings
About You:
- Proven sales leadership experience, preferably within the gambling, gaming, betting or a closely related industry
- Extensive knowledge of the gambling industry’s trends, challenges, and opportunities
- Previous employment experience with gaming or gambling clients is an advantage
- Proven understanding of the industry’s global regulatory environment
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, paired with a strong business acumen
- A track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes quickly
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
